Teen Angst Title Sequences
Juno - Title Sequence
Music - Country, Upbeat and happy - Positive film, Light hearted

Everything looks like it has been drawn, animated - Associated with younger people, seen as fun and appeals to a teenage audience.

Easy A - Title Sequence

Music and Voiceover is Sound layering.

Students are walking around and the titles appear diagonally behind them.
More plain font and colours than Juno.
Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging-
Music - Also very upbeat and happy - Positive and Light HeartedStereotypical groups - Popular girls at the Halloween party and she is the misfit group
Party - Usual place for teenagers to be
Stereotypical teenage girl room - Shows what it is going to be about
Set in a very down to earth place.
Superbad -
Music - An upbeat song but it is not as modern as the other opening sequences like Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging using A very modern song at the time.
Like Juno it uses animation for the majority of the title sequence when the main characters are dancing to the music. The dancing is also not very good which shows that it is going to be a comedy teen angst film. After this first animated part there is a short part of the two main characters talking about which adult website they would like to pay for next year which could be seen as stereotypical for teenage boys as they will usually be hormonal and enjoy them sort of websites.
Ferris Beullers Day off -
At the very start he is prentending to be sick so he can get a day off school which is fairly stereotypical for teenagers as they dont want to go to school and will try to get days off. As soon as he is allowed to stay at home and his parents leave very upbeat music starts playing and Ferries Beuller breaks the forth wall and talks directly to the audience explaining what just happened. This makes the audience feel like they are a part of the film.
